Another
World
The House of Mr Who (THMW) is an independent literary house based in the Netherlands. It grew out of the artistic research center Ekeby Art and Research and its creative practices.
THMW publishes literature that moves between languages, memories, identities and possible futures. Our books return to what has been forgotten, silenced or suppressed — in families, bodies, archives and places. We tell stories about vulnerability, transformation, queer perspectives and forgotten dreams.

Jumping
THMW publishes books in English, German and Dutch. For us, it is essential to jump between perspectives — across languages, communities and ways of seeing. Through curated workshops, THMW carries the themes of each publication beyond the page — into conversation, encounter and communities.

Fluid
THMW develops new and fluid forms of storytelling. Our stories move beyond the boundaries of the printed book. They unfold through hybrid formats, performances, films, workshops, digital campaigns and temporary book spaces. Each project creates its own world — a living archive — a world that can travel across media, spaces and time.

Visible
THMW gives space to stories that have not yet been heard. Stories still searching for their voice. Stories that make visible where old structures have excluded. Where vulnerability becomes knowledge. Where feeling becomes a way of understanding the world differently. A living Archive of Forgotten Dreams.
